A total of 100 show personalities received their Diplomas of Merit, within the framework of a new edition of the Konex Awards.

Through a ceremony, the diplomas distinguished those personalities who stood out in the last decade, within the 42nd Konex Awards and the 5th for the Show activity, previously considered in 1981, 1991, 2001 Y 2011.

The selection of 100 figures was in charge of a Grand Jury chaired by Ricardo Darín and made up of 20 personalities, Graciela Borges being its General Secretary and counting on Norma Aleandro as Special Guest. This celebration was broadcast through the YouTube channel of the Konex Foundation.

The election system consisted of designating quintets of winners for each of the 20 disciplines of the activity Shows.

The 20 disciplines considered were: Theatre actress, Theater actor, Theater Director, Film actress, Cinema actor, Film director, TV Actress, Tv actor, TV director, Female Musical Performer, Male Musical Performer, Sole proprietorship, Infant and Youth, Documentary film, Script, Driver, Scenography, Locker room, Lighting and Production.

In addition to the delivery of the 100 Diplomas of Merit, During the event, tribute was paid to figures of the Show who died during the decade who were awarded the Konex Prize in previous editions. Is about “The Unforgettable ": Diana Alvarez, Hugo Arana, Antonio Carrizo, Marcos Mundstock, Eduardo “This” Pavlovsky, Daniel Rabinovich, Sergio Renan, Fernando “Pino” Solanas, Alejandro Urdapilleta and China Zorrilla

Between the 20 Platinum Konex, The Grand Jury will select the Konex de Brillante, highest award awarded by the Konex Foundation, who will be consecrated as the most outstanding personality of the activity Shows of the last decade (2011-2020).

Also the Grand Jury, in use of his faculties, appointed Konex of Honor, distinction awarded to outstanding personalities who died in the last decade, as Agustín Alezzo and Leonardo Favio.

Regarding the Special Mentions, Héctor Alterio and Pepe Soriano stood out. (by trajectory) and the groups of Puppeteers of the San Martín Theater, The garage, Lava Skin and the Cervantes National Theater.

The delivery of the Platinum Konex, the Konex of Brilliant, the Konex of Honor and the Special Mentions, will be held at the Konex Awards Culminating Act on Tuesday 7 from December to 2021 in Konex Cultural City.
