The Cóndor Awards for Argentine Cinema were awarded
On Monday night, a new edition of the Cóndor Awards for Argentine Cinema was held, which had “Argentina, 1985” to his maximum winner with 15 figurines about 20 nominations.
The edition 71 of the meeting organized by the Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers of Argentina took place at the Cultural Center 25 de Mayo and was attended by several figures from the show, culture and representatives of the audiovisual industry.
“Argentina, 1985” rose with 15 prizes totaling 20 nominations, becoming the most awarded film of the night. Directed by Santiago Miter, The film won awards in categories such as: Best Fiction Film, Best Direction, Best Leading Actor (Ricardo Darin), Original screenplay, Breakthrough Male (Santiago Armas), Direction of photography, Mounting, Art, Casting, Costume Design, Sound, Makeup and Hairdressing, and Actress and Supporting Actor, for Laura Paredes and Norman Briski, respectively. It also won the BA Audiovisual Audience Award.
On the other hand, Pilar Gamboa was recognized as Best Leading Actress of the year for her participation in the comedy "30 nights with my ex".
“Herbaria”, by Leandro Listorti, “Sublime” by Mariano Biasin and “An Argentine Crime”, won two awards each, positioning itself as the following most awarded films. While, "Jesús López" by Maximiliano Schonfeld, "The Substitute" by Diego Lerman, “El sistema K.E.OP/S” by Nicolás Goldbart and “El fulgor” by Martín Farina each won a statuette.
Elena Roger and Santiago Walsh were awarded for the original song “an irreversible moment”, from the movie "Paradise", while the best animated short was "Passenger", by Juan Pablo Zaramella. In the category of Best Fiction or Documentary Short, the award was shared by “After Catan”, by Victor Cruz, and “Three Cinematheques”, by Nicolas Suarez. Meanwhile, "Eami", of the Paraguayan Peace Oak, won the Silver Condor for Best Film in Co-production with Argentina.
All the awarded films can be enjoyed during the cycle "The week of the Silver Condor", that will take place from 8 al 14 June at the Gaumont cinema complex in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
