“Gilda”, the work of Florencia Berthold directed by Iván Espeche Gil on the life of “the standard bearer of the bailanta” will offer a virtual function with entrance to the cap this Sunday at 20 on the occasion of the singer's birthday.

Construction site, free version of “Gilda, the standard bearer of the bailanta” by Alejandro Margulis, goes through the most memorable moments of his meteoric career and tells how, despite having started his profession late in an unknown and adverse environment, manages to become an icon of the cumbia of the 90 in Argentina and Latin America.

Starring Florence Berthold, Nicolas Espinosa, Fernando Sayago, Martín Lavini and Patricio Romero, the piece premiered in 2015 culminates in the fatal accident of 7 September 1996 that leaves the tropical movement without one of its greatest exponents and that turns Gilda into a kind of saint who is awarded healing powers.

Before the show this Sunday, the writer Alejandro Margulis will offer a conference to the 19.30 about his work and, at the end of the work, Toti Giménez, who was Gilda's producer, will offer a concert at 22.
