Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley will play together after 16 years
One of the founding members of Kiss, bassist and singer Gene Simmons will once again share the stage with the original guitarist of the New York band, Ace Frehley, after 16 years.
The announcement was made recently and in the framework of the Children Matter benefit concert., to be held in Minnesota. Simmons' solo band (that will be playing in October in Buenos Aires), will be in charge of closing the concert, which will also have the presence of the guitarist's group.
On the other hand, It was the Kiss member himself who acknowledged in June that they had joined Frehley to "write a couple of songs.", that would be part of the guitarist's next solo album.
It should be noted that previously Frehley had a rapprochement with the other founder of Kiss, Paul Stanley, with whom he recorded a version of the song Fire & water de Free.
This news has sure taken Kiss fans by surprise., who are already wondering if there is a possible new meeting with three of the four original members (drummer Peter Criss had recently announced his retirement).
Frehley was with the band from its inception in 1973 until 1982 and later was part of the meeting of 1996, that came to 2001.
