The 20 years of Doma Group in the Recoleta Cultural Center
Doma group mounted a surreal park games like X-Cronopios society in Recoleta Cultural Center hall, It is a kind of playground acid and scathing allusions to hyperconsumption, addiction to technology and excessive exaltation of values such as beauty and youth.
Throughout his career, this group -which currently comprise Julián Manzelli and Orilo Blandini- was the winner of the Curriculum Zero contest of the Ruth Benzacar gallery, presented in Technopolis that iron giant called Colossus of energy, they exhibited their works and urban installations in different parts of the world and one of their pieces is part of the MoMA collection in New York. "From its origins, Doma's work is based on a critical reading of the absurd that is reality. With that we generate work. Many things from reality, of politics, of the social situation, we find them absurd and it is an inspiration to generate work around that. Our vision of recent years is not very positive, and so this sample was born, a critique of contemporary life”, Julián Manzelli assured.
The exhibition can be visited until August 1 at the Recoleta Cultural Center, Junín 1930 (CABA), Tuesday through Friday 13.30 a 22 and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11.15 a 22, With free entry.
