Tribute to Miguel Abuelo at the CCK
The National Orchestra of Argentine Music Juan de Dios Filiberto will pay tribute to Miguel Abuelo (1946-1988), one of the most important figures of Argentine rock, on Wednesday 7 to 20 in the CCK (Sarmiento 121), free admission.
A 30 years of his death, The orchestra will perform in the Symphony hall of the cultural complex where, under the direction of Natalia Salinas, will perform a selection of his songs, with arrangements, orchestrations and curatorship by Juan “Chicken” Raffo, and the singers Micaela Vita and Gabo Ferro, plus the participation of Pipo Lernoud.
Tickets are free and are available in Sarmiento 151 (CABA), until capacity of the room. You can withdraw up to two seats per person from 12 a 19, and up to two hours before the start of the show.
“Monday morning”, “Hymn of my heart”, “My things” Y “Good day, day…”, are some of the classics that the musician and poet Miguel Abuelo - his real name was Miguel Peralta- composed and sang, as a soloist or in front of Los Abuelos de la Nada
rebellious and restless, the singer died at 42 years the 26 March 1988.
