The exhibition that takes place at the headquarters located on Avenida de los Italians 851 It has the original comic strips made by the artists Domingo Mandrafina and Enrique Alcatena and, the inauguration is over, two chapters of the program "Continuará" will be screened, dedicated to Robin Wood and Carlos Trillo.

Under the curatorship of Claudio Daniel Herrera (who also has the idea) and the coordination of Julio Neveleff, The exhibition has the support of both the Museum of Humor and the Museum of Drawing and Illustration.

With respect to the sample, the public will appreciate 50 originals belonging to two of the most prominent Argentine artists of illustration and cartoon as Alcatena and Madrafina, who also stood out internationally.

It is worth noting that these works were recently exhibited at the Castagnino Museum in Mar del Plata and the Kakel Huincul Municipal Museum in Maipú, in conjunction with the works of Ignacio Noé.

Alcatena is known for his mainly fantastic and surreal work, with strong inspiration in mythology and folk tales; while Manfradina is an artist attracted by the works of the American Milton Caniff. Later he followed in the stylistic footsteps of Arturo del Castillo, Hugo Pratt and Alberto Breccia.

On the other hand, the museum offers the possibility of enjoying other exhibitions on site such as "Mafalda on vacation", with a selection of the famous character created by Quino; "History of Argentine graphic humor (1806-2018); "Characters of graphic humor" and "The comic strip in the twentieth century".
