This Friday 3 August will be the official opening for the Buenos Aires area of ​​the 30th anniversary of the Festival of Light, the most important photographic meeting in Latin America and that in this edition will contain 162 exhibitions divided into 90 spaces of 36 cities across the country, With free entry.

The kick-off will be given from 19 at the San Martín Cultural Center, located on Sarmiento 1551, while the national inauguration will be on Tuesday 7 -from 18- at the Cultural Center of Memory Haroldo Conti (Libertador Avenue 8151).

At the San Martín Cultural Center, a total of eight exhibitions that bring together thirteen artists from different countries can be appreciated: Oliver Klink (Switzerland); Heather Bennet (England); Luis Delgado (Mexico – USA); Marco Bufano (Argentina); Cesar Giaginto (Argentina) and Sebastián Izquierdo (Argentina).

This international photography summit will have the participation of more than 300 artists from 30 countries, with the main objective of “highlighting the vital feeling that unites us to others, both on a social and personal level ", as indicated by those responsible for this meeting.

In that context, individual exhibitions will open, Collectives and screenings in each of the venues that participate in this edition. Some of the Buenos Aires places that will participate are the CCK, the French Alliance in Buenos Aires and the Vatican Square; there will also be several venues in the different provinces.
