Inaugurates the exhibition dedicated to the 150 years of Saavedra and Núñez

This Thursday 10 August the Cornelio de Saavedra Historical Museum will start the exhibition "A farm, two neighborhoods and a museum”, within the framework of 150 years of Núñez and Saavedra.

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated from 18 in the Moores room of the traditional Buenos Aires venue located on Avenida Crisólogo Larralde 6309.

Through this show, the public will have the opportunity to appreciate the history of both neighborhoods, as well as its emblematic personalities and its neighbors, in addition to each of the institutions that are part of the day to day.

Within that context, It will start from the origins of the city in which the Saavedra family played a fundamental role, going through the foundation of the farm of Luis María Saavedra and the museum that works there today. The exhibition ends with an overview of the current situation in the neighborhoods, their outstanding personalities, institutions and traditions that make up their identity.

On the other hand, In addition to the sample, different activities will be offered, as guided tours, presentations, talks and conferences. There will also be the continuity of the cycle "El Saavedra puts music to the neighborhood".

During the inauguration, there will be a presentation by the museum authorities and later a tour of the exhibition.
