Since Wednesday 22 of June, Rosario's CEC+ will carry out the exhibition "Painting-Painting", exhibition that will bring together works by artists Jorgela Argañarás, Andres Dorigo and Patricia Frey.

The appointment will be from the 19 in Galpón 11 (Estevez Boero 980 on the banks of the Paraná River), under the curatorship of Roberto Echen, macro art director.

This exhibition is a production of the CEC+ program that seeks to go out with the samples of the Center for Contemporary Expressions, travel and reach different points of the city. It is an action that seeks not only to increase the visibility of the production of the artists who exhibit, but also to articulate art with the context of each institution.

Within this framework, Roberto Echen assured that this meeting “could be an unfortunate redundancy, but in truth it is something that those who make up this sample have in common, It is the desire for and the pleasure of painting”.

He also added: “Painting for artists means something as basic and elementary as putting paint, feel the smell of oil, feel the smell of turpentine, much more than represent something. It is the complex gesture of being able to enjoy the very act of painting. Whatever is represented in this act: the anecdote, history, theme, all this becomes secondary to that immeasurable pleasure of putting paint on a canvas or on a paper support. It's about that enjoyment, and experience this sample, tour it, is to become a participant in that enjoyment”.

Once opened, The exhibition can be visited from Thursday to Sunday from 15 a 19 hours, until the 9 of July (inclusive).
