In the last hours, the National Museum of Fine Arts inaugurated the exhibition that exhibits all those works of electronic art that were highlighted by Arthaus.

"Arthaus Prize for Electronic Arts" is the name of the exhibition that can be enjoyed until 3 September on the second floor of the traditional Buenos Aires venue, where the creations of Rodolfo Marqués meet, Gabriela Golder and Diego Alberti awarded in May 2022 in the first edition of this contest.

During the inauguration, the director of the museum Andrés Duprat expressed his happiness for the "way in which we have been able to articulate this project between a Museum as old and important as the Fine Arts and a new institution like Arthaus".

According to the manager, This demonstrates "the effectiveness of this type of partnership between the public and private fields".

“We are always open to new proposals, since we understand that contemporary art, while expressing our time, allows an interesting dialogue with the great historical collection of the Fine Arts”, added Duprat.

The jury that distinguished the projects of Marqués, Golder y Alberti was made up of María Teresa Constantin, Mariana Marchesi, Jorge LaFerla, Anahí Cáceres and Andrés Duprat.

Meanwhile, Andres Buhar, creator of the Arthaus Foundation, stated that "we are focused on the production of contemporary art, and with this award, we were interested not only in supporting the production, but also close a virtuous circle with the visualization of the projects”.

I want to thank the Museum, that from the first moment, and with great generosity, opened the doors for this project. It seemed important to us that these works dialogue with tradition and be here. Since Arthaus, We believe that it is essential to continue this initiative, because, This year there will be a new edition of the visual arts contest”, Buhar expressed.
