James Wan will perform the North American version of "Zombie Invasion"
Director James Wan, responsible for "Insidious" and "The Conjuring", two of the most successful horror movies of recent times, now it will carry out the North American version of "Zombie Invasion" (Train to Busan).
Made in 2016, "Zombie Invasion" turned out to be a success that transcended borders and was highlighted in several of the most prestigious film festivals around the world.. Thus, the idea that it has an adaptation for the US market is little strange.
The rights to the film were acquired by New Line Cinema, after an uphill dispute with Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures y Lionsgate. On the other hand, the script will be in charge of Gary Dauberman, who already worked with Wan in the two installments of "The Conjuring" and in the spin off corresponding to "Anabelle" (both tapes, plus the third that is in the realization stage) Y, more recently, in "The nun".
"Zombie Invasion" focuses on the story of a father who takes his daughter to the city of Busan to meet her mother.. But nevertheless, a virus outbreak will turn everything into a nightmare.
