Jean Paul Belmondo to be honored in France before his funeral
Actor Jean Paul Belmondo, died on Monday at 88 years, will be honored this Thursday officially at the Invalides complex, a space intended in general to honor relevant figures in the history of the country.
This was reported from the French Government, according to different European newspapers, after remembering that the actor had been decorated in 2019 with the Legion of Honor by the current president Emmanuel Macron.
While, the artist's lawyer, Michel Godest, confirmed that the funeral will take place on Friday in the Parisian church Saint-Germain-des-Prés, before cremation of the body, reported the local newspaper Le Parisien.
Following the popular upheaval in France over the death of the legendary actor, people are expected to flock to the streets en masse to say goodbye, estimated today the daily Libération.
