This documentary was born during the presentation of the book “Here and now” at the Book Fair in Buenos Aires in the 2014: Paul Auster and John M. Coetzee gathered here for a public reading of this book which compiled their epistolary exchange.
Buenos Aires, Montevideo, France and New York are the locations of this cinematographic journey that goes from the intimate universe of his study and writing spaces in France and New York to the frenetic scene of his public appearances, carefully knitted together by four years of an intense epistolary exchange where their opinions and reflections on issues such as childhood are glimpsed, marriage, the sport, The paternity, the bad reviews, love, the economy, literature and art.
The activity will be at the Malba Auditorium (Avenida Figueroa Alcorta 3415, CABA), free admission.
