The Ministry of Culture joins the celebration for the Day of Cuban Culture in Argentina, of the 10 al 20 October, with different virtual and free activities.

The proposals can be enjoyed through the Facebook page of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Argentina (EmbaCubaArgentina) and the Share Culture site of the ministry share.cultura.gob.ar, reported that portfolio.

The inauguration will be on Saturday 10 October at 18, coinciding with the historical date of the beginning of the wars for the independence of Cuba, donde estará disponible la muestra “Patria”, by Cuban artist Sandor González, which will offer a virtual tour of his workshop and an online gallery where some of his pieces will be exhibited.

The exhibition includes the curatorial texts of the prominent Cuban intellectual Omar González and the national director of Heritage of Argentina, Viviana Usubiaga.

The 13 October, Cuban performing arts will join the celebration with the theatrical work Hierro, by Argos Teatro, Inspired by the figure of José Martí and directed by the prominent Cuban playwright Carlos Celdrán.

While, Thursday 15 de octubre será una jornada dedicada al cine cubano con la presentación de “Cuba Libre”, by the director Jorge Luis Sánchez, available at Compartir.cultura.gob.ar.

as close, the 20 October at 18 se realizará la presentación on-line del libro “A quien pueda interesar”, of the notable Cuban poet and essayist Roberto Fernández Retamar, with the participation of the Cuban Laidi Fernández de Juan (poet's daughter) together with the Argentine writer Luisa Valenzuela and the journalist Sergio Marelli.
