Young architects imagine other Mar del Plata “Argigram”
“Argigram”, an exhibition on architecture and future focused in Mar del Plata, It opened the 4th edition of the series MAR Young Curators of the Museum, on a proposal for Martin Huberman, developed from the production of architects in the country.
Guests think the city as a testing ground where territorial relations crystallize, political and cultural that could define the future, the group convened by the architect and designer Huberman shaped the exhibition will be open with free admission during the holidays.
“Argigram” refers to the British group Archigram, in '60 he came forward to the future and, especially, architecture, a discipline for them had become insipid, from designing buildings with legs to mobile cities.
The exhibition covers nine projects Argentina, designed specifically for the occasion, which they are arranged in logical policies, territorial, contextual and even Utopian, as “Lunar City”, “Satellite city”, “The spa town”, “The informal city”, “Border city”, “The exile City”, “Natural town”, “City City” Y “The exploiter city”.
“Argigram is an effort to reclaim the creative and cultural sovereignty of the future, the first chapter to a language project, aesthetic and constructive, an exhibition on cities of the future designed by Argentine architects”, Huberman said, who returned to the sea after “Vortex”, a work he did with 70.000 brooches colors, exposed in the hall of the museum between 2015 Y 2017.
