Juan Ignacio Pisano won the Medifé FILBA Foundation Award
During the morning of today the award corresponding to the Medifé FILBA Foundation was announced, title that five works were disputed and that threw a prize of 300 A thousand pesos.
In that context, fue “El último Falcon sobre la tierra”, by Juan Ignacio Pisano, the one who got the statuette specially designed for this occasion.
The announcement was made through a special transmission from the FILBA Foundation through its official YouTube channel.. As for the novel, was chosen by a jury made up of Eugenia Almeida, Luis Chitarroni and Beatriz Sarlo.
According to the selection criteria, the jury held that it was "a serenely complex narrative" where "blood runs and gives a violent color to everyday scenarios".
"The bad ones" by Camila Sosa Villada, "Congratulations!”By Juan José Becerra, "The Kruguer Massacre" by Luciano Lamberti and "Burning the Sky" by Mariana Dimópulos, were the remaining works that were among those selected.
