The Government of the Province of Jujuy released a protocol to reactivate the activity of the local audiovisual sector, which will include the possibility that producers from all over the country can arrive to develop their projects in the province.

"This is a new activity that is reactivated in the Province as a result of a controlled epidemiological situation. It is a protocol of 14 very complete pages that aims to take care of the health of the people of Jujuy, First, and also that of all the people who arrive in the province: actors, producers and technicians”, the jujeño president assured about it.

The protocol is intended for workers in the audiovisual sector and related companies where the prevention and protection guidelines to be carried out in the various stages of the audiovisual production chain are defined. (preproduction, filming and post production), whatever its format or genre.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy, Federico Posadas, He began by pointing out that he aims to reactivate a sector that in recent years has developed in the province “various local productions, National and international”, in addition to “significant revenue by hiring local technicians, hotel and gastronomy services, among others”.

"Jujuy is a province that has a fundamental strength by having the ENERC (National School of Experimentation and Filmmaking), the Jujuy Film Commission and the Alturas International Film Festival, that has taken us on a national level and that led us to consider the need to move forward with specific protocols so that the activity can be carried out in the Province, ”he also stated during his presentation..

For all cases, permissions will be generated, ratings and follow-ups to be channeled through Jujuy Film Commissión, provincial directorate that provides a public service to the audiovisual sector.

The producers and professionals must adapt to the protocol and general safety and hygiene regulations in force in the province, and the teams that arrive will have to remain in quarantine for four days and undergo the PCR test before filming begins..

The provincial Emergency Operating Committee may have security and health agents to control compliance with the protocol, having sanctions provided otherwise.
