July will begin with the fifth installment of La Semana de las Milongas

In order to provide support and dissemination to the sector, between the first and the 8 July the fifth edition of La Semana de las Milongas in the City will take place.

Organized by the Buenos Aires Culture area together with the Association of Organizers of Milongas and Milongas with a Social Sense, the proposal aims at listening, dance and live the tango in more than 55 milongas around the entire city.

It should be noted that it recently began with the delivery of 1400 free tickets to enjoy the event. They can be withdrawn at the Casa de la Cultura located on Avenida de Mayo 575, Monday through Friday 10 a 17 hours until exhaustion.

They will be part of this edition more than 70 artists, between dancers, musicians, musicians, costume designers, teachers and cultural managers who are part of this great cultural framework. In this way, the public will be able to enjoy free classes covering the neighborhoods of Almagro, Balvanera, tents, Boedo, Coghlan, Flores, Mouth, Monserrat, Palermo, Parque Chacabuco, Recoleta, Saavedra, San Cristobal, St nicolas, versailles, Villa Crespo and Villa Pueyrredón.

Among the varied programming that you can enjoy, there will be live orchestras playing to accompany the dance.

During the first Saturday of the meeting, starting at 23, the Tango Bardo Orchestra will be in La Viruta de Solanas (Armenia 1366), an ensemble that has performed at festivals in France, Spain, China, Thailand and Chile, among other countries.

On the other hand and as a closing of the event, Saturday 8 to 22 in 3 Milonga streams (Avenida Córdoba 5064), the San Osvaldo Orchestra will perform, group that recreates themes by maestro Pugliese. While 3 Arroyos Milonga will culminate that same Saturday from 22 at the Villa Malcolm Club (Avenida Córdoba 5064).
