"Last night I was dreaming with you" is the name of the recent single shared by musicians Kevin Johansen and David Byrne, that can already be heard on all digital platforms.

The song is an English version of "Last night I dreamed of you.", the success that Johansen recorded in 2007 for his album "Logo".

In this opportunity, the song recorded with the former Talking Heads was produced by the multi-award-winning Juan Campodónico (Bajofondo, Jorge Drexler, The Quartet of Nos) and the recording was made at Zorzal studios (Montevideo) and Reservoire (New York).

Campodonic, also, contributed the beats of the song, while the guitars were by Johansen and Diego Mema, the programming ran by Pablo Bonilla, while Luciano Supervielle played the piano.

"David Byrne is the type of artist I like to call‘ inescapable influence ’, for its freshness, su swing anti-swing, his taste for choreography, the daily bicycle and surrealism ", Johansen said about this collaboration, remembering that "to the 19 from 20 years ago a friend showed me the song ‘Heaven’ de los Talking Heads, produced with Brian Eno. I also remember repeatedly listening to the album ‘Little creatures’ with the coda of ‘Television man’ and his congas and the humming of the ‘nanana’. And of course the album ‘Rey Momo’ and all his work with the Luska Bop label, showing tireless curiosity ".

Meanwhile, Byrne explained that “I have been a Kevin fan for many years.. I saw him live at a club in New York some time ago and I think it was the first time we met. ".

About this participation, "I immediately said yes, without even knowing what it was about. And when we talk about the song 'Last night I dreamed of you’ first I tried to sing it in Spanish, but it didn't sound natural, so we decided to make an English version ".

Para el ex Talking Heads, "The translation was simple, as easy as his version of ‘Heaven’, and we realized that we were doing something new. I recorded my part and a few days later we sang it together at the Mercury Lounge club in New York and it was spectacular ".

It should be added that Kevin Johansen is immersed in the making of his next studio album, without forgetting his classic end of the year concert (which this time will include the festivities for the 20 years of his band The Nada), which will take place this Sunday 5 December at the Palermo Hippodrome.
