Buenos Aires architecture 900 present in a new sample

"Mold the wall" is the name of the exhibition beginning on 5 of September (from 18) and can be enjoyed until 28 October at the Museum of the City.

This exhibition will be at the headquarters Sala Cherubim, located in Defense 223 the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo.

City buildings built between the late nineteenth and early twentieth, exhibit besides a variety of styles- a series of decorative elements on facades and interiors of different sizes, shapes and materials. brackets, balustrades, cornices and keys are some of the ornaments that architects and builders of the time used to decorate and enhance entries, balconies, fronts and cuffs, both public buildings as those for offices and homes.

And since these decorative elements not only distinguish and embellish buildings, but also constitute an important part of the heritage of the city, its history and culture, the City Museum presents the elements of the Grant Diaz Tieghi and others from the collection itself, to count, through a hundred pieces, pleasures, fashions and trends in the building industry decoration 100 years ago. Exposure to mold wall will be open from Wednesday to Monday 11 a 18 hours (Tuesday closed) see you Monday 28 October, the value of the input is $50 (free Wednesday).
