From the 6 March to the 3 May the artist Argentina Catalina Chervin (Trabucco winner of the prize drawing and the First Prize Drawing Salon of Plastic Arts “Manuel Belgrano”) will present an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires (MACBA).

This exhibition consists of some of his most important works of the last 20 years of his career, many of them never exhibited before in our country, under the name "Atmospheres and Entropy".

The exhibition will be officially opened from the 19 on the premises located on Avenida San Juan 328, Angel curated by Navarro.

In this context, the public will be able to appreciate large-format creations belonging to series such as “Of the written landscapes” O “of the little brands”, and it includes a selection of leaflets 2 x 3 meters, from his series “Street Art”. they, Chervin uses pen, pencil, inks and coal to capture on paper forms, lines, spots juxtapose and weave textures, lights and shadows.

Navarro explains in his curatorial text works by the artist "from a minimum sign, an elementary particle, mark left his pen, nib, the rotring to, como a demiurge, start putting together an extraordinary world, ethereal and subtle ". In added time: "Creations marked by forms approaching the biological, with shadows that accentuate certain areas providing drama to those beings that throbbed in her white background ".

Meanwhile, Chervin says that in his creations "There is an empty" and explains that "the expression of a vacuum that is filled with forms. Forms that appear to be bodies, birds, fragments of a human body cut into pieces, monsters of its own mythology, landscapes, towers where the crowd falls and scatters putting together a world and flooding the space. Once opened, The exhibition can be seen Monday through Friday 11 a 19 and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a 19.30. The entry fee is 150 pesos (Wednesday 100); while students, teachers and retirees paid 100 pesos (the free Wednesday).
