This Friday 9 September will open the exhibition "The practice of painting" at the Municipal Art Center of Avellaneda, by the artist Verónica Di Toro.

With curatorial text by Cecilia Medina, The exhibition will be officially open at 19.30 and can be visited until Saturday, October 1, day on which it will also take place (from 17.30) a guided tour with the artist.

In this way, Di Toro will have the opportunity to show his art in Avellaneda for the first time. on display (which on its first day will have live music from La Listéylor Jazz Band) the public will be able to appreciate a selection of paintings by the artist.

The work exhibited in the enclosure located on San Martín 797, represents a dialogue with previous works.

Di Toro is a Buenos Aires artist born in 1974, who trained in the workshop of Mabel Deppiaggi and Raúl Rébora. In 1990 He entered the Manuel Belgrano National School of Fine Arts and later the Prilidiano Pueyredón National School of Fine Arts., graduating in 1997 with the title of National Professor of Painting. He began to walk the path of geometric abstraction, which never abandoned until today, in Sergio Bazán's workshop where he completed his training between 2001 Y 2004.

"The practice of painting" can be visited with free admission, Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a 20 hours.
