ASDRA announced the launch of arts workshops for young people
The Down Syndrome Association of the Argentine Republic (ASDRA) recently announced the launch of different artistic workshops for children and young people with or without disabilities.
Faced with isolation and estrangement, from the Association expressed the commitment to approach families in a creative way. Because, under the virtual modality, during the months of September, October and November photography classes will be held, expanded cinema, drawing, painting and music.
With the aim of creating spaces for social and cultural inclusion through artistic expression, ASDRA carries out inclusive artistic workshops for the fifth consecutive year. Faced with isolation, the virtual modality has been implemented to develop photography classes, expanded cinema, drawing, painting and music.
These proposals are led by a team of teachers and assistants who, besides being artists, have a pedagogical background.

Declared of cultural interest by the Cultural Promotion Regime (Patronage) of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, workshops are an indispensable area for creativity and the establishment of links between people with and without disabilities.
ASDRA is the Down Syndrome Association of the Argentine Republic, a non-profit and public good civil association founded by a group of mothers and fathers of people with Down syndrome in 1988 to improve the quality of life of your children. The volunteer work is joined by an operational staff that collaborates in the daily tasks of the organization.
