Starting this Monday and by reserving previous shifts, the National Library will reopen its doors to the public after a year due to the pandemic.

From Monday to Friday and during the hours of 10.30 a 14.30, there will be an access for general users to the rooms of special materials (Mapoteca-Fototeca, Music and Audiovisual Media, Archives and Blind), while researchers accredited by the institution will also have access to the book rooms, Newspaper Archive and Treasury.

“From the start of the health emergency, generated by the pandemic, we work on preparing the necessary conditions to plan and guarantee a safe reopening, adapting our facilities, applying security measures and establishing stages and the respective protocols, tending to provide an environment of well-being and health care for the users and workers of the Library”, reported through a press release from the institution directed by the writer Juan Sasturain.

At the same time, the Museum of the Book and Language will have from Tuesday 16 an agenda of outdoor activities to be confirmed in the next few hours.
