The Biennale celebrates its tenth anniversary of young art
In 2023 the biennale, young artist promotion platform, celebrates its tenth anniversary with special calls and an agenda with more than 100 activities that invite you to discover what the artists who participated in the program throughout its five editions are doing and thinking today.
Promoted by the Undersecretary of Cultural Policies and New Hearings of the Ministry of Culture of the City, the Buenos Aires Youth Art Biennial promotes from 2013 and in a sustained way a meeting space, training and creation for young artists from all over the country.
This year, celebrates its tenth anniversary with the launch of special calls and the agenda "The Biennial invites you", through which it will be possible to know the current productions of the artists that make up the Biennial Community.
“The Young Art Biennial is an opportunity to meet and make visible artists from all over the country from different artistic disciplines. This year's schedule, in addition to stimulating the production and circulation of his works, proposes to celebrate the 10 years of the Biennial together with the public to add new audiences”, said the Minister of Culture of the City, Enrique Avogadro.
The special calls are aimed at artists between 18 Y 32 years, and to those people who have been selected in any of the five editions, no age restriction. The calls seek to promote with financial support the creation of performing arts projects, audiovisual, visual, music and literature and provide for the delivery of 7 prizes of $400.000 in each of the disciplines. At the same time, more than 100 activities, the agenda of La Bienal invites you will offer free tickets for recitals, theater plays, dance, performance, readings, samples, projections, open talks, tours, workshops and more. this schedule, which begins in May and will continue throughout the year, provides invitations for events and shows that artists from the Biennial Community are currently developing in various cultural spaces in the City and other parts of the country. Like all years, Institutions that support the Festival will award their prizes.
