Within the framework of the historical review of the archive of the San Martín Theater, “La casa de Bernarda Alba” will be screened through the platforms of the City and the Buenos Aires Theater Complex., the classic of Federico García Lorca.

Under the direction of Vivi Tellas and the participation of Elena Tasisto, the successful play that was part of the program of the traditional Corrientes Street theater in the season 2002 can be seen on Saturday 3 October from 20.

Besides Tasisto, the cast of the play features Mirta Busnelli, Carolina Fal, Lucrecia capello, Andrea Garrote, Maria Onetto, Mariana Anghileri, Muriel Santa Ana, Nya quesada, Mausi Martinez, Irene Grassi and Livia Koppmann.

The literary consultancy was in charge of Martín Prieto, the music is by Diego Vainer, Jorge Pastorino lighting, Oria Puppo's costumes and Guillermo Kuitca's scenography.

"The House of Bernarda Alba" was represented in 1977 Y 1978 in the Martín Coronado Room, with the direction of Alejandra Boero, scenery and costumes by Oscar Lagomarsino, music by Gerardo Gandini and a cast made up of María Rosa Gallo (later replaced by Alejandra Boero), Maria Luisa Robledo, Elena Tasisto, Juana hidalgo, Molly Stela, Graciela Araujo, Alicia Bellán, Hilda Suarez, Lilián Riera, Alicia Berdaxagar and Rubí Monserrat. In 1980, with Alejandra Boero's direction again and a cast made up of María Luisa Robledo, Hilda Suarez, Alicia berdaxagar, Marcelle Marcel, Gloria Necon, Ingrid Pelicori, Alejandra Boero, Catalina Speroni, Alicia Bellán, Juana hidalgo, Elena Tasisto, Graciela Araujo and Livia Fernán, the work was part of the First Hispano-American Tour 1980, which presented –with great success– four shows of the San Martín Theater on different stages in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico.
