Recently, the Buenos Aires Culture area inaugurated the La Cisterna Archaeological Site, a new museum that will exhibit restored pieces and museography.

With a free proposal, the new enclosure is located on the ground floor of the building located on Moreno 550. Its arrival was given as a true archaeological find and was possible thanks to the Heritage Operations Management.

This space will tell the story of water in Buenos Aires, where the pieces found by the team of archaeologists from the City during the excavation stage will be permanently exhibited. To them, others contributed by City Heritage will be added, management that oversees the entire process of conservation of the place.

Within the framework of the inauguration, Buenos Aires Minister of Culture Enrique Avogadro, He maintained that this new proposal "allows us to look at our own past from a unique perspective". In turn he added, that "doing it in this context of the country means the possibility of generating cultural news of the first magnitude. The inauguration was also part of the Secretary General of the Commission for the Preservation of the Historical Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires Emiliano Michelena; the operational manager of heritage Martín Capeluto, and the owner of the property José Kohon.

The days and times to visit the venue will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 13 a 19 hours and Saturdays and Sundays 14 a 18. On Monday, Tuesdays and holidays the place will remain closed.

Guided tours may also be requested for schools at all levels, with reservations writing to consultaspatrimonio@buenosaires.gob.ar.

Regarding guided tours, will be held without prior registration and limited capacity, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 15, 16:30 Y 18 hours.
