"The Comedy World" presents the works of the master Sergio Sergi
This Friday 14 of June, National Print Museum will present the exhibition "Comedy World", with a selection of works belonging to recognized and remembered artist Sergio Sergi.
The opening is set for 18 hours and, Once submitted, will be open, with free admission- Tuesday to Sunday (Also holidays) of 12 a 20 on the premises located on Riobamba 985 (4to piso).
Curated by María José Herrera, This exhibition offers the opportunity to appreciate works of prominent artists that are part of the heritage of the National Museum of Engraving, the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and collection of Dr. Mauricio Neuman.
Hailing from the Italian city of Trieste, the artist came to our country 1927, where he quickly exhibited his work at Amigos del Arte -institution created in 1924 and he received, among others, artists like Pettoruti, Xul Solar and Pedro Figari-.
Sergi is worth noting that part of the collective imagination following a very famous his creation, as was the head of advertising that used Geniol.
Anyone visiting the show, you can explore the different aesthetic stages that crossed the artist, who really knew how to capture a universe of characters that resemble life.
