Under the cycle "Dance in Company", organized by the Theater Complex of Buenos Aires, this Saturday 4 (from 17) and Sunday 5 of May (to 16) The group will perform Masmeret, to celebrate its anniversary.

The appointment will be at the Teatro de la Ribera, located on Avenida Pedro de Mendoza in the neighborhood of La Boca. This show is free and entries may be withdrawn from two hours before the start of the function.

Regarding Masmeret, It is a dance company representing the Society Hebraica Argentina. It is also, one of the most renowned ensembles of the Jewish community and has 35 years of experience.

Led by Flor Jadid, this group took their own shows by various local and international stages, with presence in Mexico, Paraguay, Israel, Brazil, Peru and Uruguay, among others.

Their repertoire includes traditional folk dances such as dance and Chassidic Time, mergers and dances from Greece, Eastern Europe, Arab countries and even our country.

Israeli folklore is characterized by its cheerful and fun spirit. Their diversity shaped the identity of the State of Israel at the time of its creation, seeking union between people who came from very different places, without that they had achieved until then communicate orally through the same language.
