"Las ciencias Naturales" is the name of the new work that the company Teatro Futuro will present at the Teatro San Martín starting in March, under the direction and dramaturgy of Mariano Tenconi Blanco.

The official presentation to the public will be on Saturday. 4 (to 20 hours), with functions that will go from Thursday to Sunday at the same time and with locations that can be purchased at the box office of the venue located on Avenida Corrientes 1530 or on the official site of the Theater Complex of Buenos Aires (CTBA).

With performances by Agustín Rittano, Ariel Perez de Maria, Marcos Ferrante, Juan Island, Gabriela Ditisheim y Andrea Nussembaum, plus the presence of Ian Shifres as a musician on stage, The show will narrate the trip that the German naturalist Rudolph Weiss will make towards the dreamed America together with his Spanish secretary Calixto Blanco.

The purpose of his journey will be to find the origin of the human being. But nevertheless, the Río de la Plata will not be exactly as they imagined. There they will find a charismatic warlord, a wacky tribe, the missionary jungle, a nun, a traveling theater company and the world's biggest question mark: What is the human being?

Through this story, the company will pay homage to all the Fausts together, from Goethe's genius or Marlowe's classic to Estanislao Del Campo's satirical and marvelous Fausto criollo.

It is worth noting that "Natural Sciences" is a new experience of "The European Saga", a project of the Teatro Futuro Company started in 2021 with "The Captives" (premiered at the Teatro de la Ribera) which intends to explore the relationship between Latin America and Europe during the 19th century through a group of works.

Likewise, "Las cautivas" is now being presented at the Metropolitan Theater, on Saturdays and Sundays at 17.30 hours, within the framework of the integral productions of the Complejo Teatral de Buenos Aires in other theaters.
