Faced with the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, recently the Association of Cinematographic Cronistas de Argentina announced that the ceremony corresponding to the Condor Awards will be held in 2021.

According to the organization, It was decided that this year there will be no face-to-face or virtual ceremony, so the prizes corresponding to the edition 68 will be delivered next year together with the edition 69.

It should be remembered that the films that will compete in the next edition are those made between January 1 and 31 January this year, both in cinemas and on different streaming platforms. Likewise, the first edition of the Silver Condor Awards for series and telefilms to be held in 2020 it also runs for next year.

The Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers of Argentina, currently integrated by 70 members of graphic media, audiovisual, radio and digital, It was founded in 1942 Y, since then, developed a constant activity in the dissemination and strengthening of national cinema, since from the same year of its foundation it has delivered the Silver Condor Awards, the award with the greatest continuity within Argentine cinema.

In the first award ceremony, Lucas Demare's Gaucho War was awarded as Best Film, while in the last installment the Silver Condor Award crowned El Ángel de Luis Ortega as best fiction.
