Recently, the National Theater Institute opened its open call to be part of the CABA Theater Festival, to be held in February.

With time until 20 October, The invitation is open to all those theater groups of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires that wish to participate in this meeting that will take place between the 3 and the 26 February at the Cultural Center of Memory “Haroldo Conti”.

Those interested in participating must meet the following requirements:

The shows that are registered must have premiered between December 1, 2021 and October 1, 2022.

Shows that have participated in previous editions may not be presented.

As minimum, the 75 % of the members of the shows that are presented must have stability and permanence in the province in which they are presented for the selection process, al menos durante los últimos dos años.

The shows that are submitted to the selection process must have a minimum number of two performances performed on different dates before the public. Because your participation is competitive, the participating casts will not receive fees for the function performed in this selection.

Registration will be done only online through the platform of the National Theater Institute.

Once the call is over, the casting selection process will be subject to the decision of a jury composed of Cristian Daniel Drut, Mónica Berman and a member of the national jury for project qualification from the National Theater Institute.

In total there will be 15 the shows chosen for a preselection (12 headlines and 3 alternates). Finally, the jury will have the decision to choose the three winning works.
