The Mendoza Philharmonic opens its season 2021
With a tribute concert to Astor Piazzolla, the Mendoza Philharmonic Orchestra will open its season 2021 in the Independence Theater of the aforementioned province.
The appointment will be this Friday from 21.30 and with this presentation, The Orchestra will be the first of its kind in the country to return to the stage in person.
"Piazzolla Eterno I" is the name of the show that will mean the beginning of the thirty-sixth season, under the direction of the titular maestro César Iván Lara and as guest soloists, the bandoneonist Fabrizio Colombo and Bruno Cavallaro, on violin.
In the opportunity, will interpret, in the first part, “History of Tango” (The History of Tango) version for clarinet and piano by Dimitry Varelas, with the special participation of the musicians of the Fernando López Orchestra, on clarinet and Emanuel Fernández, a piano. They will also play "Bordel 1900"; “Cafe 1930”; “Night Club 1960” and “Concertd´aujourd´hui” by Astor Piazzolla.
In the second part, the soloists Bruno Cavallaro will be, fiddle, direction and musical arrangements and Fabrizio Colombo, on bandoneon who will perform by Piazzolla the songs "Invierno Porteño"; "Vardarito"; “Oblivion”; "Overturned"; "The lost birds" and "Escualo".
