In order to celebrate Writer's and Writer's Week, The Fundación El Libro planned a series of activities to enjoy online.

In that context, the Foundation will make available various special proposals, as well as material from the institution's video archive and sound archive. They will begin to be seen from this Monday.

First, from the German city of Cologne, the Argentine teacher Victoria Torres - who teaches at the university in that region- will interview especially, by Zoom, to three Argentine writers residing in France: Eduardo Berti, Ariana Harwicz y Edgardo Scott.

Remembering different national lyricists through readings, there will be a meeting between Chilean writers, Uruguayans and our country. These texts, some of them unpublished, will be available in PDF.

A) Yes, among others, Ramiro Sanchiz, From Uruguay, will write about Samanta Schewblin; Roberto Rivera Vicencio, From Chile, about Roberto Arlt; and the Argentine Elsa Drucaroff, about Fina Warschaver.

In this way, the Foundation will try to continue the closeness between people and reading, just as happened with the International Book Fair that due to the quarantine had to be suspended for the first time.

As stated to the agency TELAM Oche Califa (Institutional and Cultural Director of the Book Fair), “It has been very important and we are very grateful for the willingness of writers and academics to produce this content.. At once, there will be materials from the sound library, such as interviews with Osvaldo Soriano and Abelardo Castillo, that were valued with the help of Ether, School of Communication, and other audiovisual talks held at the last fairs ”.
