With a series of free activities and talks that can be done entirely online, the El Libro Foundation will inaugurate 23 August "Reader's Week".

The kickoff will be with the conference “Think book, between author and reader”, by the philosopher Darío Sztajnszrabjer.

Between activities, also, they find the release of poems, live chats with young readers from all over the world, raffles and surprises.

In this way, For the first time, the El Libro Foundation organizes a week of special activities within the framework of the celebration of Reader's Day, that is celebrated every 24 August commemorating the birth of Jorge Luis Borges.

As expressed by Ariel Granica (President of the El Libro Foundation), “It seemed like a good idea to generate a constellation of cultural proposals during these five days, that they were heterogeneous enough, convenors and federals to celebrate not only Borges, but above all to readers of all ages and backgrounds ".

Tuesday 24 of August. For the whole day.

Virtual release of poems across the country.

Renowned young readers from different parts of the world share their readings.

The activities of the Reader's Week have the support of Banco Nación, bank that to accompany this celebration, will provide from 24 al 26 August the 30% of reimbursement and until 3 Interest-free fees to your customers in affiliated bookstores throughout the country.
