Klemm Foundation exhibits its permanent collection
Jorge Federico Klemm Foundation presents the mythical subsoil of its new permanent exhibition space in your collection, "The body of a collection", a tour that includes works by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Roberto Aizenberg, Joseph Beuys, Oscar Bony, Mark Chagall, Giorgio De Chirico y Lucio Fontana, between many more.
“The idea of the exhibition was to focus on the problems that brought together Klemm's collection, in the period of 90 which was very marked by his television program that sought to expand and introduce contemporary art to much broader segments of the population. That is why we organize conceptual nuclei not so focused on the history of art, but on the ideas of Klemm”, Federico Baeza told, one of the curators.
Born in the Czech Republic in 1942 and based in Argentina at 8 years, Klemm participated in the 60 in the local scene of the happening and not only consolidated from the 90 an impressive personal collection, but it promoted the production of young artists -through the award that bears his name-, while achieving powerful visibility as a public figure, tied to pop culture, party and glam.
