With free admission, the Vermeer Gallery and the Espacio Pla will carry out an exhibition in two rooms where part of the work carried out by Eduardo Pla can be appreciated, as well as a collective exhibition.

“A vase in cyberspace” is the name of the exhibitions that will take place in Rooms A and B that the gallery has in Arenales 979 and Suipacha 1168, respectively, where part of what Pla has done in a period between 1980 Y 2000. On the other hand, a group show will also be presented with artists such as Nana Schlez, Lucia Ranzuglia, Victoria Poirier, Guido Corallo, Julian Brangold and Diego Alberti.

This proposal will be open from Monday to Friday from 12 a 18, under the curatorship of Merlina Rañi and until the 18 of May.

Both exhibitions point towards the imaginaries, themes and questions on which a virtual environment is built. in room A, the selection of works by Eduardo Pla records his training period in Italy and his contact with design schools in Milan as part of his computer exploration. Among the pieces are interspersed designs and digital prototypes that were made materially, as well as reinterpretations of other designers who were part of the anti-design movement of the 80s. In addition, paintings will be presented., sculptures and objects that came from that moment of his career.

Meanwhile, in room B six contemporary artists are presented who work on the construction of virtuality and the conceptualization of space. Agents of his time, reflect factors such as the acceleration of digitization and constant coexistence with technical contexts that generate information-focused experiences.
