"La Guiada" is a humorous story that plunges into a drift of characters, situations, anecdotes and reflections. In that context, architecture becomes history, period painting in social tensions, the artists and their works in the workers and their time.
In this history, the public waits in the foyer of the building where they are received and informed about the opening of the theater. But none of this happens in an orderly fashion, linear or expected. The guide has a bad day and confuses everything: dates, places, Names.
His companions, other theater workers, they try to help him, but between all they do nothing but lose their way. This is how they discover a piano and the first of a series of songs is born that burst forth like a flash of happiness.
The route of the building and its possible bifurcations were traced by the desire to trace the echoes and appropriations that in one way or another configure our national culture. That is why La Guiada is also an invitation to tap dance, sing cumbia, crossdressing Eva Franco, go through the complex and transitory of all identity.
