Upon completion 49 years of its premiere, "The anatomy lesson" - the classic work of Carlos Matheu- will return to scene, this time on the stage of the Buenos Aires Theater.

This return will take place after an extensive tour of the country and different locations in Uruguay. Now, the appointment will be in the enclosure of the street Rodríguez Peña 411, under the direction of Antonio Leiva.

Leiva was part of the cast of the original work and now took over the direction after the death of the author. Thus, "The Anatomy Lesson" -the Argentine theater piece with the most consecutive performances over the years- will present functions on Thursdays (20 hours) and Saturdays (22.30) from 16 October.

In this opportunity they integrate the cast Ailín Barsanti, Facundo Calvo, Soledad Correa, Yamila Gallione, Luciano Heredia, Hermes Molaro, Omar Ponti, Veronica Romero Sierralta, Javier Salas, Carolina Sobisch and Cristian Zeballos.

This classic, so recognized for his commented nudes, maintains the original text that continues to be valid and resists the passage of time.
