Legendary band Cheap Trick returned with studio album
“In another world” (BMG) is the name of the brand new studio album that marks the return of the legendary rock band Cheap Trick and is now available.
It is the twentieth album by the band headed by singer Robin Zander and guitarist Rick Nielsen., which features the singles "In another world", “Light up the fire” y “Boys & girls & rock n roll” –The most recent of all that was presented live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert-.
It should be added that this plate is already available through BMG in digital and CD format and will be released on black vinyl next 4 of June.
Produced by his partner Julian Raymond, "In Another World" marks Cheap Trick's first new LP since the albums of 2017 “We´re All Right” y “Christmas Christmas”. It also shows the band in its most eclectic form., playing a myriad of different sounds and song approaches, from the swampy blues “Final Days” (with a fiery harmonica from the GRAMMY®-nominated singer and frontman of Wet Willie, Jimmy Hall), a timely rendition of John Lennon's “Gimme Some Truth” (originally released for Record Store Day Black Friday 2019 and with the instantly recognizable guitar sound of the old Sex Pistols, Steve Jones).
