"Years of Bohemian Rhapsody", Queen official photographic exhibition by Mick Rock arrived in Mar de Plata, where it will be seen to 27 January at the Gran Hotel Provincial NH.

This is a selection of works from the Photographic important that Rock has and covers several years of life and work of one of the most emblematic groups. This multimedia exhibition comes from being public record in Mexico and already had its visit to our country in other venues, as Cordoba and Buenos Aires City.

For its realization curator and Argentine producer Sebastian Alderete had access to the complete archive of original negatives of Mick Rock; invaluable pieces of the photographer knew kept for over forty years.

In that context, many of the images that can be seen at the Hotel Provincial will, as a result of this task, unpublished photographs that had not been revealed until earlier this year (2019) when first he presented the show in Mexico City.

The exhibition will also feature a film about the life and work of Mick Rock, original music and videos from one of the most important bands in history.

Mick Rock Queen photographed in its infancy, in the early 70s, at the request of Freddie Mercury, when the singer was looking for him and his band a similar aesthetic to which Lou Reed had David Bowie and Mick Rock with whom he had already earned a reputation as a photographer and creative director.

Over the years these photographs became a historical document, a single record that transcended generations until today allow us to relive the unrepeatable past.
