"The Institute", the latest novel by the prolific American writer Stephen King, He hit bookstores just over 24 hours but already got an agreement for television miniseries adaptation, as they reported by American specialized media.

The Spyglass Group acquired the rights to the novel and took over the project to David E. Kelley (creator of the hit "Big Little Lies") and Jack Bender (director de “Lost”).

Not the first time that both make team in the adaptation of a literary work of King, since they are responsible for the series "Mr.. Mercedes”, based on the trilogy of crime novels of the same name.

Kelley will be the enrcargado the screenplay for the miniseries and Bender will direct, while both are also executive producers.

"The Institute" is the story of Luke Ellis, a child with apparent psychic powers Minneapolis, in United States, which it is forcibly recruited by a shadowy organization that seeks young talent like yours.

And the miniseries will join the more than 200 film adaptations, TV, theatrical and graphic novels that have been made over the creations of Stephen King.

Among many other projects see the light everyday, this year released the second part of "It", directed by Argentine filmmaker Andy Muschietti, becoming "Doctor Sleep", starring Ewan McGregor and representing the sequel to "The Shining".
