“The Alaskan Mechanism” is the name of the new play by Los Pipis Teatro that will hit the Timbre stage 4 from 4 of September.

With performances every Sunday from 18 in the enclosure located over Mexico 3554, the work will remain on billboard until the end of October, with tickets that can be obtained at the local ticket office or through Alternativa Teatral.

Los Pipis Teatro is a duo formed by the actors, directors, playwrights and couple Federico Lehmann and Matías Milanese, who stood out at the opening of FIBA 2022, also The Biennial of Young Art 2022 and they were also winners of the Stimulus Award for the creation of the Buenos Aires Theater Complex for this work.

In this opportunity, the show aims to investigate new ways of thinking about theater from the current context of creation. The main artistic motivation of Lehmann and Milanese is to generate theatrical events that respond to the problems of the present with an aesthetic investigation committed to the scene of the future..

Within this framework, "The Alaska Mechanism" is presented as a love story between two young people who meet at the National University of the Arts, they fall in love in a passionate debate and adopt a cat they find in a theater whom they agree to take care of.

The plot starts from a biodrama about the couple's own history and then becomes a work that plays with the language of science fiction about the future.
