This Friday 13 of July, Corallo Guido's work will be exhibited in the premises located on Malabia 1841, and next to it you can also appreciate the continuity of the exhibition "The face of the earth", with works by Eduardo Pla.

"Appearance of the collapse" is the name of the exhibition that will be inaugurated from 19.30, under the curatorship of Gabriela Cárdenas. While, "The face of the earth" can be seen on the top floor of the enclosure, with the curatorship of Merlina Rañi.

The new exhibition is made up of a series of drawings by Corallo, composed of images that are capable of failing. But also those faults can be sought, without falling into a mere mistake, but in a specific anomaly. In that context, the anomaly will take place within a very narrow threshold that is usually identified as the edge of chaos: the transition zone that separates regular behaviors from completely chaotic ones. There the contradictory attributes of both extremes find their balance..

Work of Eduardo Pla

Concerning "The Face of the Earth", is a curatorial exercise that Rañi proposes around the work of Pla. from that point, where the image is pointed to as the interface of the world, and the emergence of a “virtual” imaginary, derived from the production of images and digital environments.

It is a tour of some visual pieces of the artist, produced at different times and with different methods, is complemented by the reboot of the video-installation “Virtual Video World”, a work carried out in the year 1995 for him 50 United Nations anniversary.
