Starting saturday 2 October, the play “Las Cuñadas” by Florencia Naftulewicz will return to the stage of the Nün Teatro.

Naftulewicz also directs the play (with Pilar Boyle) and stars it with Julia Galeano and Mercedes Moltedo, under the production of Felicitas Oliden.

As the plot, revolves around the depths of an upper class family trying to hide, by all means, certain family secrets that inexorably come to light.

In this way, questions will arise among the protagonists. How to remain the perfect country family when family secrets lurk? How far two ladies “good” They are willing to go to protect the good name and the family business? Gynette and Gyselle will transform their weekly beauty ritual into a conspiratorial plan that will involve manicures and will go much further than they bargained for.

As Naftulewicz herself expresses, the work "is a dramatic comedy written in verse that exposes the role of women in certain social classes". In that context, the author asks “What are we capable of doing to belong and / or continue to be accepted in certain social circles? Is there anything more toxic than family?”.
