The pandemic delayed the departure of new Disney productions
The list of movies that had their release dates affected by the advance of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow and now affected two long-awaited Disney titles.
As happened with "Mulán" (then released online), "Black Widow", "Mission Impossible", “Batman” o “Jurassic Park”, several other, now the same happens with the adaptation of "Death on the Nile" and "Free Guy", movies headed by Kenneth Branagh and Ryan Reynolds, respectively.
"Death on the Nile" is the story based on the tale of Agatha Christie, also directed by Branagh, while, “Free Guy: Taking Control ”is the comedy starring the star who gave life to Deadpool.
The original date of departure for both productions was scheduled for December, but they were postponed by Disney and without any new date for the moment.
This confirmation arises from the arrival of a second wave of the virus that affected many European countries and also on North American soil.. For the moment, there are no plans to release these films via streaming.
On the other hand, “Nomadland”, film directed by Chloé Zhao and starring Frances McDormand, winner of the Golden Lion for best film at the last edition of the Venice Film Festival, It is the only film distributed by Disney that has not yet been downloaded from the official calendar.
