The film "El Estaferro" will participate in the 36th Black Week in Gijón

"The Figurehead", Argentinian film directed by Carlos Martínez, will be part of the 36th Black Week in Gijón, the greatest black novel festival.

This film will reach the maximum meeting as a result of representing "the current narrative of the genre", as explained by the organization.

The production inspired by the play “El Gordo, the Frenchman and the Mouse Pérez”, by Raul Argemi, will have its screening this sunday 9 July from 22 hours and the meeting will be attended by Argemí himself and also the director Carlos Martínez.

It is worth noting that Argemí's novel was the winner of the Dashiell Hammett and was also translated into several languages. The film deals with the adventures of a group of criminals who hatch a plan that involves the wife of a powerful media magnate..

The film is the fourth directed by Martínez and has a cast made up of Jorge Suárez, Alberto calls, Nerina Balza, Osmar Núñez, Luis Machin, Enrique Dumont and Tamara Garzón.
