Sala Lugones has a cycle dedicated to Alexander Kluge

Jointly by the Theater Complex of Buenos Aires, the Goethe Institute and the Cinematheque Foundation Argentina, a cycle called Alexander Kluge be held: a retrospective.

This meeting will take place from Friday 3 to Wednesday 29 of May, Sala Leopoldo Lugones at the Teatro San Martín (Avda. Corrientes 1530) and it will consist mostly of materials compiled and restored by Filmmuseum Edition.

The cycle is designed to conduct a thorough review of the work of the great filmmaker and thinker, "A giant figure of German culture", In the words of Susan Sontag. The exhibition includes unpublished films in Argentina, as news of the Great War (1914 -1918), opening cycle, and the replacement of its monumental News from Ideological Antiquity, inspired by The Capital, Karl Marx.

Localities can be purchased in person, the day of the performance, at the box offices located in the San Martin Theater. The price of seats is $60, students and seniors $30 (with the corresponding accreditation).
