The series “Okupas” returns to the screen thanks to Netflix
The successful series "Okupas", accomplishment that marked an era after its appearance in 2000, will return to the screen through the Netflix platform.
This story, created by Bruno Stagnaro, reflected a marginal environment through the harsh life of a group of young people who made up Rodrigo de la Serna, Ariel Staltari, Diego Alonso and Franco Tirri.
The launch of this series and its subsequent success marked a before and after in this type of stories that were responsible for showing the darker side of society, coinciding in a difficult moment for the country that later triggered the crisis of 2001.
It was Netflix's own Twitter account (@chenetflix, which is responsible for disseminating the content exclusively for Argentina) the one who was in charge of announcing the news, in addition to releasing a trailer with the music composed by Santiago Barrionuevo from El Mató to a Motorized Police.
Regarding music, justly, much of the soundtrack had to be changed due to legal issues. Throughout the series, songs from groups like The Beatles could be heard., The Doors, Jimi Hendrix o Bob Marley.
"Okupas" could be seen through the then Canal 7, under the production of Ideas del Sur and after his departure he marked peaks of 6.7 rating points, a real success for the state channel.
